The San Patrice is an ancient atlatl point, possibly 10,000 years old. A relic from the end of the last Ice Age, it was used to hunt big game now long extinct. There's ongoing debate about the overlap of megafauna and these types of points, but I can tell you this: I've found mastodon teeth and bison horns eroding from the very same layer of sediment as these points. It's an honor and a privilege not only to witness these wonders of the past for the first time in thousands of years, but also to rescue them, steward them, and carry their likeness forward into jewelry for others to experience and enjoy.
