Extremely Rare Rattlesnake Turquoise Brim Biter®

Rattlesnake Turquoise is legendary — one of Nevada’s rarest and hardest-to-find stones, its scarcity rivaled only by icons like Lander Blue. It’s so scarce and coveted that I’ve honestly hesitated to part with it, and believe me, I’m hoarding some. But I want this epic turquoise to exist out in the world embodied in my proudest design: the Brim Biter®.

This limited-edition Brim Biter® is handmade with authentic old-stock Rattlesnake turquoise from Lander County, Nevada, set in a .999 fine silver bezel with a solid sterling silver body.

I literally spent years chasing down the perfect specimens of this turquoise, and only recently did I finally secure a handful of natural high-grade rough nuggets.

There is truly no other turquoise like Rattlesnake — its wild, blotchy bursts of apple-green to blue, framed by earthy golden host rock, are unmistakable and completely unlike Royston, Pilot Mountain, or any other Nevada stone. Its only distant cousin is Grasshopper Turquoise, another of my top Nevada favorites, yet still unmistakably different.

Pulled from a tiny, long-quiet mine, worked only on a small scale between the 1950s and early 1980s, production was so limited that virtually no new material has surfaced in decades. What remains today is true collector-grade turquoise, long considered a holy grail among serious turquoise connoisseurs.
