Each piece is handmade with .999 fine silver bezels and Kingman turquoise on a real stainless steel horseshoe nail. These nails are all old-stock, sourced from a retired farrier.
Made from real steel horseshoe nails, this design has been given an upgraded finish to help prevent tarnish and rust. Each piece is sealed with Renaissance microcrystalline wax, a museum-grade protective coating that helps guard the steel from moisture, sweat, and humidity so it stays looking great.
NOTE: The nails are steel. The bezels for the turquoise and magnet are solid silver.
This magnetic accessory, like all my others, is completely secure. It's not coming off unless you want it to. And you can pin it literally anywhere and on anything with no holes!
As for the magnets, they’re super-strong neodymium rare earth magnets bezeled in .999 Fine Silver for a forever-hold. No cheap glues! And the bezeled magnets work to magnetize the entire nail! Each comes with a separate neodymium backing magnet that goes inside the hat to hold the piece.
